Paarl weddings tend to be bigger and later — more family, longer speeches, a floor that stays full. I shoot the whole day rather than clocking off after the first dance, because at a Paarl wedding the first dance is barely halfway.
The granite and the vines mean you get warm reflected light well after other valleys have gone flat. Val de Vie and Rhebokskloof both hold usable light later than couples expect, which buys us an extra twenty minutes outside.
